ReplyDeleteAre you mentioning about Yahoo Stock symbols or Google Stock Symbols?
DeleteHi Aryan, you have a bunch of awesome stuff on ur blog! Kudos!
ReplyDeleteI have a question - when i get the 1 min time frame data of any scrip from ur blog and load it in Amibroker & I choose to go for Daily time frame it shows closing as per 1 min tf & NOT on the basis of the daily weighted avg close which Exchanges publish. Any resolution on this to get closing on the basis of exchange given weighted avg close when displaying Daily?
Hi Nikhil , thanks for your comments.
DeleteWell , this is right , you won't be able to get the daily weighted average close through this data. I don't think that there can be any turnaround also for this problem as you will have to make change in the quote editor for inserting the close values which you get from exchange but then this will change the data reading for all the time frames. Also this can be cumbersome if more symbols are involved.
Happy Trading.
Thank you for this brilliant site. Turned off Ad-blocker.
ReplyDeleteYou are most Welcome dear Sunder.

ReplyDeleteYes you are right NIFTY_F1 is Current month & NIFTY_F2 is next month Contract
DeleteWhy does the data start from 9.16 am IST ? NSE markets start from 9.15 am IST.
ReplyDeleteActually Sandeep this timestamp is the ending time of the candle and not the starting time. So data is being captured from 9:15.
