Moving Average crossover trade entries are the most popular among traders. When the fast moving average crosses the slow moving average then traders initiate their trades in the direction of the moving average crossover.
Mostly traders use two moving averages for the crossover signal generation. Some traders believe in more conservative approach and therefore take their trades based on a triple moving average crossover signal. The fast EMA crosses the slow and the slow crosses the slowest of all. So in total two fast moving averages are used for the crossover signal on the slowest moving average.
In Amibroker there is an AFL for the same purpose to generate the signal based on the triple moving average crossover. The buy or sell arrows will indicate when the cross has taken place and therefore indicating the timing of the entries and exits to be made.
